Since the last set of images, I've acquired an AT66ED (66mm f/6 apochromatic refractor) which, while a bit short for the focal length, makes for very quick setup to take pictures. 10 minutes to setup and tear down on a photographic tripod and take 10-20 photos. The photos can them be cropped and stacked and voile, I'm done.
A longer focal length would be nice for bringing out a bit more detail, but the ease is hard to beat.
This was taken on the vernal equinox, one day before full moon. A close look at the lower left shows some detail that makes it clear it wasn't quite full.
