CANCELED: Stargazing at Shore Road Park

Due to the poor forecast (complete overcast by 7pm), this event is CANCELED.

The weather outlook for both Friday and Saturday is poor, so the rain date will not work. We will have another outing in December, to be announced later.

In conjunction with the PS102 Astronomy Club, I'll be hosting a brief stargazing session at Shore Road Park between the baseball fields between 76th and 77th streets: see this map. The focus will be on the constellations visible during the current season as well as viewing Jupiter through a telescope. If you have binoculars or field glasses, bring them!

Rain date will be Saturday evenining, Oct 25, same time and location. Check back on the day of the event for weather updates!
